Struggling offensively in the second half and failing to score in crunch time has been a frequent problem the last four seasons under two different offensive coordinators...

Err Enos has this problem? What about Ole Miss 2015, or State 2015 with 50 points (after being down big and opening the second half with 21 points in the third, albeit with help from the defense), or 2015 LSU with his great call to ice the game in the fourth, or Ole Miss 2016 with the late drive and call for Cornelius to give us the win, or TCU with the late drive and nice 2 pt conversion? Now compare that to Chaney.

Enos doesn't have a problem with second half scoring or crunch time scoring. The offensive problems last year were solely due to the OL. Not his fault.

I know this is off topic, but does anyone else get the feeling that Brandon was viewed more as a leader than Austin is?
I felt the opposite Brandon always seemed scared I never see that with Austin. He seems determined and focused even if it doesn't work out he seems confident

That's why I said "frequent problem" instead of "constant problem" which was the case under Chaney.

Enos's offense stalled and had too many 3 and outs during the second half collapses to not share some of the credit.

But as with the fanbase one factor will be focused on solely as the reason of an issue that is said to be the main problem with that program at that time as if it happens every game...

Yeah not entirely. BA threw 2 less interceptions over his junior and senior years than AA threw last year. Austin is going to have to bring that number back big time this year to be considered as good as BA was his senior year.

This. Austin at first had glimpses of rs sr brandon, but in the end was not quite the same player. By the end of 2015 Brandon had basically set the bar for arkansas quarterbacks. He basically had the best single season in school history as far as qbr, stats, and single game tds. He lead the nation in qbr and efficiency. Brandon was a down right stud and Austin has a lot to prove if he wants to be considered as good or better. Right now I can't think of another qb I would want over rs sr Brandon. Him and Ryan mallett are the 2 best I've seen live.

You didn't watch the Mizzou game then, both were equally horrible. I guess at least VT is a respectable team last year.

I absolutely did, but forgot about it. They better beat the shite out of Mizzou this year, no excuses.

If you give AA time he WILL find the open man. The O-line was so bad last year that he was fighting for his life every game and got gun-shy because of it.

Exactly. No way does Brandon put up his 2015 numbers behind the 2016 OL.

I like Enos, but I agree with this. The issue for the most part is that we seemingly didn't have a counterpunch when opposing defenses made adjustments at halftime. The few exceptions (Ole Miss, MSU) were due to the fact that their defenses were terrible.

However, I don't fault Enos too much. It's a tough spot to be in as a coordinator when you know your own defense is a complete liability and won't provide you any cover fire.

Austin also regressed significantly in the back half of the year. Whether it was due to the fact that our OL was a sieve or that he felt pressure from knowing our defense couldn't bail anyone out, it was still disheartening to see the change in body language and outputs.

First half (of the season) AA was reminiscent of Tyler Wilson. Second half AA was reminiscent, to a degree, of Casey Dick.

Bert is no stranger to 2nd half collapses.

Vs TCU in the Rose Bowl Wisky fails on a 2 pt. conversion late in the game to tie it.

Vs Oregon in the Rose Bowl Bert doesn't score any points in the 2nd half. Oregon scores twice.

Bert loses both games.

Now Bert steps up to the SEC West from the Big 1 G and expects different results?

LOLOLOLOLOL

Bert blamed Alverez for not being able to keep assistants, Didn't pay them enough money.

Moar BS

Revolving door here too.

Maybe Bert can get it done here, but we're stuck with him until 2019 at least.

Just STFU Bert and coach!
