Which, losses aside, might be a good thing.
I think 2013, 0-8 and 13 straight really humbled the shite out of him after he hit campus in a blaze of swagger and shite talk, but it appears he got cocky again after the wins against LSU, OM and Texas. He was riding high after the Texas Bowl and squeezing every bit he could out of it, and he lost it just as fast as he got it with Toledo and Tech. Unbelievable. I've never seen a head coach go from penthouse to shitehouse with a fan base so quickly.
Maybe he'll shut his mouth now, but I'm sure we'll pull of some crazy win against State or Auburn and he'll go right back to talking shite like an idiot again despite an horrendous conference record.

Long should be canned simply for how horrendously stupid that contract is.
It's literally a lose-lose situation for us. If he's bad, he's too expensive to fire, and if he's good, his buyout is low to where he can go somewhere else relatively cheap. Of course, the latter is now playing out. My only hope is that Iowa gets rid of Ferentz and comes calling due to the relatively low buyout.

So he gets drunk on Dickson? Anyone know a cop who will arrest him for public intoxication and maybe trump up some resisting arrest,etc. use the Petrino clause to fire him.
