If it was up to me...
I would make a run at Dave Warner Co-OC at Michigan State.
If Warner said no.....maybe look at Bob Bostad. Make Bostad OC and TE coach and move Lunney to QBs.

Anything coming out of The Hog radio is likely bullshite and made up. They carried that terrible show Uncle, or something a few years back.

i have a source as well... Yep, Chaney and Bert had a couple of disagreements, one mainly following the Mizzou game.
But nothing to lend itself to Chaney heading out the door without CBB Knowing...
That is crap... Period... The interesting part will be if others leave as well. We haven't seen this as of yet.. have we?

Weinke would make a TON of sense to be our QB coach. That would be fantastic. OC? Not so sure.

This. If Smith were to leave too then you can go after Norvell perhaps as OC/WR coach and then Weinke as QB coach.

Weinke as QB coach would be a grand slam hire.. as much as people hate to admit it, he did alot of good with Brandon Allen is just a short amount of time.
I think it's a foregone conclusion that Thomas and Smith are gone too, we need a bigtime recruiter at RB coach.

I must apologize.... I TOTALLY forgot that Morriss went to SMU...... idiotic statement on my part.
I have a feeling that the OC hire will likely be someone we aren't totally familiar with. I could be wrong but we don't exactly have a ton of star quality for an OC to fall in love with at this exact moment.
I think he would like that there is a lot of potential at the QB position all be it mostly very young. He would have to love the O-line depth and the 1-2 RB combo, but TE will be Henry and everyone else and IF we have a big play threat at WR he is probably not on campus yet. So it limits your playcalling somewhat. I'm sure there are much worse situations but it's not exactly a juggernaut either.
