HY publicly states today he won't fight to keep him.

4-1 is the bestest day ever for razorback sports.

My gut told me it would be game over if USC came open.

As much as I dislike HY, Muss wouldn't be around much longer anyway, he never is. I'm in no way saying Muss is gone, just that it wouldn't surprise me.

Based on?

His pro stints resulted in him being fired.

He leaves Nevada for the SEC just like fox and Jones did before.

There is no way spinning SC is a better job even for Muss and his mother being in San Diego. They had their former HC walk to SMU to get his gap kicked in the acc next year.

Being honest here. I'm pretty close to just finding a new team to root for.

There's absolutely nothing fun or exciting about being a Razorback fan anymore.

Baseball is the only bright spot.

How would you even go about getting emotionally invested in another team?

I don't think I would. Just imagine being able to watch a game and just enjoy it no matter who wins.

I think that's some sort of sports zen shite or something.

I'm probably too far gone to ever be able to walk away clean. It may be my lot in life to suffer needlessly.

Unfortunately, this is 100% true. I mentioned it to a co-worker who coaches high school and he told me it’s true and Muss is trying to convince a PAC-12 player to come with him. Somebody my co-worker used to coach. Being as vague as possible here.

I believe any hold up on this is coming from USC's end, not Muss' end.

I have seen nothing that leads me to believe this. Not saying he won’t leave but there’s nothing about this

Baseball? Even though I have a feeling the offense and Nate Thompson's sorry arse will keep us from possibly winning a title.

I have no faith in HY and the BOT to find a good replacement. I doubt they would let him hire Beard even if he wanted to. Jerome Tang would be a good one to go get.

I'm about at the point where I like Muss but he needs to crap or get off the pot.

Not a fan of Beard being our guy. Moser .... meh... maybe
Jay Wright could still win at a high level i think... not sure about how culturally good that fit would be.

I'd be good with Shaka

Does USC have any decent NIL program? I get he likes it there but feel there's not much support.

I've heard basketball players that plan on spending 1 year in college prefer doing it in NW Arkansas and not Southern California

I will say this. With the news breaking today that he is interviewing tomorrow, let him go. I'm sick of HY and we don't' need the basketball version of Houston Nutt.
