And 19 against Liberty which was a way worse loss.

Mine is there is one consistent problem and it’s not the OC. We’d still be losing games we shouldn’t with Briles here.
Arguing about Briles over Enos is dumb. It’s still down to Pittman at the end of the day.
For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t even be that opposed to taking a shot with Briles as HC. Probably the only guy that would take the job and young enough with enough to prove it could work out.
So what is your point?

Enos only scored 21 against Kent State and 24 against BYU.

I agree but last year I said Pittman was slowing Briles down in the red zone. I think the proof is he moved the ball well up until the red zone. Then Pittman wanted slow bullshite plays like Enos runs. We stalled and didn’t score.
Yes there were dumb reverses. But I think Pittman did that so our defense wouldn’t be tired for a non recruiting Odom. I think with this DC and Briles there would be less slowing down needed.

That’s not what I said.
I said he would let Briles do whatever he wanted but when they go close he would say slow it down. Which he admitted to multiple times in interview inadvertently.

There are multiple interviews when Pittman said he was telling him to slow no no no slow… and Briles had already taken off his head set and was calling the play in, we scored on those.
So what I am saying is I think the red zone offensive woes were Pittman yelling at Briles to slow it down.
We went 20 to 20 quicker than most teams. But we didn’t do shite after we got in the red zone.
The problems with Enos isn’t that Pittman is calling it, it’s that nothing is quick. So our line can’t hold anything back. KJ is a one option quarterback. It needs to be out his hands quick. Whether that be a run, a sneak or a quick pass.
