Was pulled over with in a car with some buddies. When the cop ran the tags, he found that the car was linked to a robbery, so he put everyone in the car in jail.
JoJo's dad is confident he will be set free and will be able to make the trip to Fayetteville this Saturday. Jojo's dad says there is no way JoJo had anything to do with the robbery.

Fuuuuck. Talk about your life flashing before your eyes. That was a serious felony they charged everyone with on zero evidence.
We hear horror stories of black dudes getting railroaded but that was really a close miss. Earn a scholly to play in the SEC and end up doing 15 on a bullshite charge.
I hope he uses this as motivation to make good choices while he's here. Bet he'l be glad to get out of Miami.
Also on a bright note good to see he's legit 6'0 185.

I laugh because that was my second thought (first being "EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF") when I clicked the link and saw his mugshot.
I definitely don't miss the days of Otis talking about a 6'5, 260 D-End, who'd then sign and hit campus and immediately shrink to 6-3, 240.

Miami Dade Public Defender Office now reporting charges have not been dropped, and there is an arraignment hearing on May 22.

I was hoping we had a booster step in with some legal ninja and got this cleaned up. If he has a public defender we've obviously got a damn long way to go.
I don't think we can ever be successful in the SEC if we can't get a 3 star out of some extremely circumstantial charge.

I'll give it to Bert, under previous staffs guys have shrunk 3 inches and lost 15 pounds.
His guys grow two inches and gain 10 pounds.

-JoJo's dad said that charges were dropped.
-Dade County DA is giving conflicted reports on whether the charges were dropped or whether there is even a case or not. One person says arraignment May22; another person says JoJo doesn't even have a case.
-JoJo's dad has gone silent.

Any updates? Heard on the radio (yeah yeah, I know) this morning that Bert's maintaining he'll be in town.
