He has to make some sort of change IMO...AJ, while not pretty, didn't give the other team the ball...

Your thoughts?

It's pretty clear that B. Allen is not our QB of the future. And it's not just the accuracy issues, he gets rattled and loses his mind really easily. No "it" factor. I'm willing to try anyone else.

Derby = Yes. BA is not talented, zero mental toughness, not a leader, not even a likeable guy

That's my thought.

AJ isn't pretty, but he doesn't shite all over himself. When he gets excited, he sails it 30 yds above a WR and it goes into the 10th row of the stands, not the bread basket of a CB.

So I never saw the kid play before he started embarrassing us last year. Was he good in high school or what? People seemed to act like he was great and should be the next Tom Brady. Where did they get that?

Bobby and Garrick said he was the best freshman they'd ever seen.

He is young therefore I'll reserve judgement even though I don't feel good about it.

I'm all for the young kids getting their asses handed to them as it builds character down the road especially when they are Currently some of our best players.

I saw him a ton.

Goes back to my theory on 7A football and it being a mirage because of only 16 teams, all making the playoffs.

There is no competition.

We could all look like Joe Montana's throwing to a WR that is covered by a 5'9" 4.9 forty white kid from Rogers.

Idk what he can do at this point. There are just so many issues across the board. Just going to ride this dumpster fire and wait patiently for baseball season.

Well Derpy is even worse and if we were going to burn a rs then I think we should have done that earlier in the season. Seems like sitting back and letting what happens happen is about the only viable option at this point.

Yea and every year our signing day class was the best one they signed. Lying sacks of shite.

Yes.

I'm perplexed by this thread, after all the bitching about "derpy" for basically two weeks.

Just further proof the back up QB is always the better QB.

dude couldn't hit a 2 yard pass on time but now that BA isn't doing well he's got to be better. We won't win an SEC game with derpy at the helm. We might win 2 or 3 with allen.

What I saw on the interception Saturday was a WR who let the DB take away his route and step in front of him.

BA threw the ball like he should have been "posted up" on the DB, like that was the play called, the WR gets touched and is all like "frick it you win".

I was least concerned about the WR coming into this season. After watching them play I don't know what petrino had planned for this team. Maybe he thought he'd be leaving the school after last year.

That is what I keep asking myself when I read how the brothers Petrino would have BA looking like Wilson and the receivers looking like Childs, Wright, Gragg, Adams, and Hamiliton.

How did the plan on doing this with a group that is smaller, slower, and not good at catching things?

Spending all practice working on it every day so games like this past Saturday would have been the norm for the season as other good offense faced off with an unprepared, thin, defense?
