Numberwang doesn't like Okies as he's referenced them a number of times in his posts. Or maybe it is limited to those from Muskogee since he's mentioned them, too, keeping in mind that the population of that entire city is under 40K.
show us on the doll where he was touched by a Muskogee?

Dude, you're showing your arse here. WMR is correct in that, really only a few shitty bars have big weekends compared to a normal weekend. Any football weekend is more profitable than BBBQ, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Sorry

Your smartass group has made it clear that you represent your favorite three or four cool bars, and the rest of us have made it clear the rest of the NWA money structure wants BBBQ here.
NWA > four cool bars with smartasses

Just got my email from Northwest Arkansas Council promoting BBBQ:
quote:
Those of us who live in Northwest Arkansas know fall means Arkansas Razorbacks football, the War Eagle Arts and Crafts Fair, and Bikes, Blues & BBQ.
The energy in Northwest Arkansas created by those events and so many others couldn't be any higher than it is in the fall! Every weekend has something fantastic to offer!
Starting tomorrow and through this weekend, it's Bikes, Blues & BBQ's turn to dominate Northwest Arkansas, and it's an economic heyday for the region. It brings thousands of people to Fayetteville and guests fill up hotel rooms from Fort Smith to the Missouri state line. No one-time event brings more people to the region, and it's $69 million economic impact is impressive.
Please click "share now" to help us celebrate one of the unique events that Northwest Arkansas has on its calendar!

You have made it clear that you don't know the first thing about Bikes Blues Weekend. You can have it up in Benton County. Please take it if is so vital to the economy of its home city, imagine all the great stuff that would come as a result of having Biker trash weekend in your city!!
Start a petition drive or something.

LOL! It's already in both counties buddy.

Can someone list the actual businesses that close for BBBQ?
Bars, etc.
Let's get a specific count.

Do you have any evidence of that?

$69 million economic impact > petition drive/loud pipes
You lose anyway you slice it, tard.

The only thing less fun and more irritating than BBBQ is arguing about BBBQ.

This is a completely baseless number from a study that started with a guess, fyi. Many other guesses followed. That study is useless. It doesn't stop mouthbreathers like you from parroting it, though.

Truth.
Tired argument is tired.
I, for one, can't wait to go see the Avett Bros. on Friday night then spend the rest of the weekend up on the lake fishing with my sons, watching the Hog game, lounging by the pool and cooking some good food. All without having to worry about my wife getting pulled away for some emergency at her store.
I hope the bikers enjoy Fayetteville and spend lots of money.

wrong. Our infrastructure here can't move 50,000 people everyday you think there's 200,000 people in Fayetteville for the bike rally?

Motorcycles are smaller than cars.
Posted on 9/23/14 at 6:44 pm to CtotheVrzrbck
So how many people do you think come here for the rally?
Posted on 9/23/14 at 6:50 pm to Stonehog
As in legit numbers? Including visitors, vendors, locals that come out for the event.
I'd say 35,000-40,000 from out of town, and an additional 40,000-45,000 locals from a 50 mile radius.
