I don’t understand the Porter Moser request from some. OU would be perfectly fine with someone taking him off their hands.

Is it because he coached Little Rock? He has a 20-35 conference record at OU in three years and has not made a single NCAAt in that same stint.

No thanks.

I feel like there is a 100% chance we end up with a black coach so just thinking of guys who could recruit with no NIL money

I feel confident that regardless of who else we strike out with, Wade would come here. Pretty good safety net.

How would the show-cause affect us, if at all?

It would never get past the SEC office. Arkansas would be put at risk of penalty from NCAA sanctions for his last infractions by hiring him while the show cause is in effect. If a repeat violation was to occur while HC here, Arkansas would be eligible for the harsher "repeat offender" penalties immediately due to hiring with his show cause still in effect.

Wade isn't worth the trouble.

There will be NIL money. Muss lost some of the relationships that produced NIL and it will return with a good hire.

Or our AD could just give this coach an extension.

could live with Chris Beard or Porter Moser.

Beard isn't coming to this dumpster fire and you'll be calling for Moser head in year 3

Maybe you missed the fact that this coach is why the NIL money pool for basketball is shrinking. Nevermind the fact that Muss wouldn't sign an extension with an increased buyout anyway

Do boosters run this athletic program or does the AD?

Does the head coach run his program or does the boosters?

Boosters running things is what gave us Stan Heath, John Pelphrey, and Chad Morris. They promised the money for the big hire before those were delivered as well.

Why is the NIL pool for football shrinking?
Why is it shrinking?

Who's job is it to fund raise for all the programs?

When the head coach makes promises to "boosters" if they contribute to NIL and then doesn't follow through it tends to piss people off.
Football NIL isnt decreasing, in fact it has increased.

If you are as connected as you try to make it appear then you know this

If you believe the "HY has one in the bag already" stuff, it's Sampson.

I'll be shocked if it isn't.
I can live with him or Beard... but I think it's Sampson.

He didn't hire Sampson at Houston.

Sampson turned HY down before he hired muss.

Sampson is way too old. It would be Beard of bust for me.

Beard
Wade

That’s the list. If it goes past those two then Hunter needs to be looking for a job while a good ole boy fixes his mess and gets those two back on the phone with a pile of cash.
