Yes it is. How many threads were started about Mike's coaching when we beat Kentucky? None.

So I'm fellating the coach because I don't want him fired after 2 and a half seasons?

Hiring a new coach every three years isn't the way to build a program.

Bunch of fricking retards.
Are we at the point where we're supposed to jump for joy when we beat Auburn at home?

So a win against Kentucky is worth nothing, but a loss to Mizzou is a firable offense?

I understand where you're coming from, but understand where I'm coming from.

Melvin Watkins was wearing a polo shirt with a suit. No tie, all 3 buttons buttoned. A blue polo shirt, with a grey suit.

You're telling me that sad sack of shite can go bang with the big boys and recruit against Calipari and Worldwide Wes? I don't think so Bubba.

Mike has simply put his buddy and his nephew on staff and is milking the Arky teet dry. The team reflects this, and Gregg Marshall is 10x the coach that Anderson is. Wichita St. is a tough team that finds ways to win games, not find ways to lose them like Mike's teams.

He hasn't recruited to build the type of team he's been the most successful with and the tightening of the rules means he has to really coach and prepare and plan for how the rules will dictate the flow off the game. Listen to Mike during interviews... He doesn't think very quickly, says "ummm" way too much for a professional with as many years coaching as he has. Seems a little too disjointed, he's not able to teach his teams how to work their way out of bad spots in games. They flash a little brilliance and go right back to the simpleton ways.

The guy just isn't fine tuned enough, and a blue polo with a grey suit....

We're a terrible team, player wise and coaching wise.

We're going to be lucky to win 5 conference games.

I agree that Watkins' wardrobe is terrible.

And Greg Marshall would be a good hire, but we can't fire Mike assuming we can just go get Marshall no problem.

Beard and Babb will make this team better, I think we make the NIT this year, big dance next year and then after that we'll be a consistent tourney team. Madden is good but he's not the player to lead this team, and I think Beard could be that guy.

All I'll say is that I think we give him one more year and I support that. If we do this same shite then I'll be all for a change.

Let this sink in for a moment.

We've gone from recruiting coast to coast, cherry picking the puzzle pieces, replacing with higher and higher caliber player.

to recruiting on a regional map and taking reaches and transfers coming home from lesser programs.

Welp, we do kinda suck ballz.

What I just don't understand is how we've not been able to get a top 5 SEC coach in the past 12 years.

I mean, our coaching has been terrible for a long time. And we pay big bucks. I don't get it.

I'm all for one more year. If we don't make at least the tournament next year, it has to be over.

There aren't really any excuses for not whiffing the tourney at Arkansas. We had a 25 year stretch where we only missed it three times.

You can't fire Anderson. No way now how. Not now.

If we fired Anderson, our program will have officially fallen to the depths it's never been before.

There would be no coach with experience seeking this job. None.

Our program right now is toxic. Like it or not, it's the truth. Curse of the slobbering hog, curse of Broyles, curse of something.

This isn't a Mike issue. It's a program issue. Our program has fallen on 2 bad hires and hardly no wins outside of our states borders. It's taken 10 years to get it in the gutter, so it may take a little bit longer than 3 to get it out.

I know Mike can win. He did wonderful things at UAB. He took over a Missouri program in the shitter and turned them in to a 30 win team. He didn't forget how to coach. He wants to win here worse than anyone.

Mike isn't going anywhere for awhile unless he pulls a Petrino or quits. And we know none of those asst coaches are going to move up the coaching tree elsewhere. It will probably depend on future homegrown talent to pull us out of the ditch.

The contraction from Nolan and Heath's recruiting to Pelphrey and Anderson's directly correlates with the contraction in win total and quality of team fielded.
