Same here. I think it was sometime after the ULM game in 2012, when the stupidity became just too much to handle. I remember there being an unending supply of threads on potential candidates for the HC job and each one was dumber than the last. Names like Saban, Ken Hatfield, Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer, and Fred Akers were thrown around with regularity.
At that point, I was like "okay, this group of people is too dumb to consort with and it's getting embarrassing." I just figured perhaps our entire message board ecosystem was like that, but then I found this board, and it has truly been a respite from the darkness.

I enjoyed the low info poster that I could correct and feel superior to on HiV. Lol.
Here my knowledge is pretty average to everyone else, below many.
HiV is run by fascists and not freedom loving Americans. That's their problem. I'm sure Lanny is told what is and is not allowed on his own website in order to keep the relationships he has.
I only miss giving Mike Irwin grief. Surprised I didn't get banned for it.

This is why I left. I leaked some info that came straight out of Bielema's mouth once. It was info he told my friend and I after he had a few drinks. I had to be a little cryptic about it. Irwin comes in saying I have no idea what I was talking about. All his little followers came after me. I decided right then I would never share info on Hogville again.

Thats the problem with people like him and especially Arkansas media.
Not one fricking person will ask controversial questions because they are afraid they will get credentials pulled.
Did anyone press the staff on why Rafe didn't play in the last scrimmage, or did they just go with the company line of giving the others more reps.

Why would they press the staff over a potential backup QB? It'd be one thing if AA hadn't participated. But it's not and the staff's reasoning makes sense.

I couldn't get into Hogville because the collective sense of humor over there is awful. It feels like a site full of people who think the movie Grown Ups is a top 5 comedy of all time. Plus, their eyes are too close together. Can't trust them.

This + all the posters who write multiple paragraphs without saying anything at all in the guise of an informed opinion makes it unbearable. I will admit though, I do check in there from time to time to make sure I haven't missed anything.
