You do know its the coaches who pick out/approve the uniform design for the cycles?
All Adidas did was pull out the Wisconsin template and put our name on the front... so after this season Bert can have them pull out the OU template and put our name in replacing theirs.
Tulane uses OU's basketball jersey template with their colors, fwiw.

Same could be said for Adidas though. But I get your point - I'm sure Nike could come up with something similar to '06 if we asked.

Those are literally the only simple one's Nike makes.
Basically, we trashed the only good look we've ever had (Red and White, nothing flashy, it's football for pete's sake). We let some Nike intern cut and paste SD Chargers logo's onto our shoulder or just experiment with our look every year. We've become a push-over.

People bitch about our basketball jerseys, we join some high end programs in getting new Elite jerseys, people still bitch. 
It really sucks to be thought of by Nike to include us in the Elite lineup with the likes of Kentucky, Florida, Syracuse, etc.

98-02ish we were a Reebok school then went to Nike from 03-04 or 05 and then Adidas.
