I wonder what prompted police to search him in the first place. Either he was doing something else dumb or he was stopped for some BS.

It's not up to you to decide if people should or shouldn't carry guns. That's their own decision. But, he's a dumbass for not getting a permit.

It's ridiculous to need a permit in the first place, but it's not expensive. Just go get a dang permit.

negative. i carry. proudly. and i understand that a criminal is going to carry whether they have a permit or not, but i don't want to make it easier

The only thing that would make it harder for criminals to carry would be to make the guns heavy. A criminal is a lawbreaker by the definition anyway, a piece of plastic or lack thereof isn't going to determine whether or not they carry a gun.

If he had a permit, is he allowed to carry there on campus? Seems like it was school police who got him or that's at least what that article says
