In that case I’m all for it, as long as it’s just a swap of the colors on the helmet just like the white helmets worn in the 60s/70s/80s. I don’t want to see any crimson facemasks or any other nonsense.

Retro? What could be more classic the the uniforms we wear now? Our uniforms are already “retro”. I mean…what would be different other than stripes on socks or numbers on the sleeves? No names on the back of the jersey?

This is possibly the stupidest most retarded thing I’ve read. They are not red you dipshit. There is nothing you can do to make them look better than they currently look, with the one possible exception of a slight hue alteration. Yes tradition matters, but Alabama has the best looking uniforms in football, why would you mess with that?

And to answer OP. Yes, the white helmet would be fine occasionally, but really only with the white jerseys.

BTW I’m a traditionalist and tend to agree that we don’t need to change shite, but 18 year olds like variety, as evidenced by all the current juniors who have been to more schools than a yearbook photographer.
