One interesting thing about all of this is the three teams who voted against Cal, Stanford, and SMU were FSU, Clemson, and UNC (who is expected to sue the ACC sooner than later). I believe he has to wait until April 13th for the portal to actually open to transfer, and A-day is April 15th, so my guess would be no.
I suppose if he never enrolled at Iowa he could go anywhere, anytime, but I don't think that's the case. ...

Probably not. He probably got to Iowa and saw the huge discrepancy in the programs.
Also, when you leave a small town somewhere and go back later, it seems a lot smaller than it did before and a lot of the homesickness you had will go away. ...
