Nah.

He can have his own opinion just like anyone else.

I watched Harris multiple times this past season and wasn't blown away. Like I said, he could be great but he isn't a generational talent. He just isn't. If that hurts your feelings I apologize.

Hell, by the end of the recruiting cycle the recruiting services didn't even have him as the best RB in the country.

Fair enough.

I just hope we have a legitimate passing game because I'm not a bit worried about running back, however the yards and carries shake out.

This time last year a lot of folks, mostly rival fans, were saying UA might not have a productive rb. I said then that we'd have more than most SEC teams. Now we have even more, but only one ball.

Lacy was the only returning back who got playing time the year before when Yeldon came in. It had nothing to do with NFL potential.

Najee has one potential NFL starter ahead of him in Bo

You're kidding right? Every single back on the team is a potential future NFL starter.

You're totally making an assumption that all these guys are ahead of him just because of seniority. I think he's our number 2 guy right now alongside Damien with an

No I'm not. Najee played with the second team for A-Day, so we know he's behind Jacobs right now. Do you really believe our only 1000 yard rusher and a monster like Bo are behind Jacobs and Najee?

The situation Najee is in is a lot more similar to Henry's situation than Yeldon's. Henry had like 30 something carries his freshman year, and he was a more impressive back than Najee in high school. I don't even think it's close in my opinion. Henry was one of the best high school players ever.

I do think it's possible because I think Najee is a really good back, but he has a mountain to climb compared to Yeldon.

I think Damien Harris is overrated.
I don't think he has the measurables to start in the NFL, and I think Josh Jacobs and BJ Emmons are both better.
With that out of the way, I think of those three, BJ is the best every-down back.
Bo is the best back on the team *when healthy* but has shown to be pretty fragile with regard to injuries.
Najee may very well be our best every-down back after Bo. JJ is great, but he's more of a change-of-pace style back.
My prediction was if Bo goes down, Najee could step in and take over, with some combo of JJ BJ and Damien backing him up.

It could happen. That's all I'm sayin...
It also helps that Najee is a reallllly smart guy by all accounts. He should be able to pick up the offense pretty quickly

The DH detractors should eat some crow. He is a top 2-3 rb in the country.

Yeah most everyone seemed to be sleeping on DH but I kinda understand it too. He’s not the biggest or the fastest, he doesn’t have a signature move like a spin or hurdle. He also failed to impress his frosh year and that 1st impression can be difficult to overcome in fans’ minds.

If DH can keep up this level and we start to get Bo going and we start to mix in JJ effectively, then we could start seeing some really absurd rushing numbers down the stretch.

Harris is a freaking beast. Period. Next level vision and very good size. He isn't getting caught from behind this year too. He is always fresh too.

This is really the key. Last nights runs were vision first. He does it so well.

Not that his 1st TD wasn't fantastic, but I was more impressed at his 2nd. He turned a sure loss of yards in the redzone into a TD.

He's got deceptive power. I keep saying it, but he's a New England Patriot back. He can play every down and is an ace on special teams.

It's funny how you are always so wrong about literally everything.

Army has won two games this year without completing a pass. That's some next level running.

We should run a wildcat/wishbone hybrid offense. No passing ever !
