Right field looks awesome, but as usual the rest of the "big money" seats down low are empty just like basketball.

I got to the stadium an hour early, got turned away. The only student section is right field. I wish they would give us more student seating.

Had such an awesome time. Man I fricking love the new stadium.
Stood in line for 3 fricking hours though. The line for the student section stretched out from the gate to the baseball practice facility. This was 30 minutes before the first pitch. Didn't get in until Bama first batted in the b1.

The stadium was mostly full. The crowd was a bit late, but man, if you wanna sit in the right field, you have to get there extremely early. And I'm not just talking an 1 hour and half.
I cannot believe how fricking long that line was. 3 hours before the first pitch, and there's a line stretches back to the playground in rows of 10.
Everyone lost their shite when he hit the HR. Beer was going everywhere, everyone was hugging and then everyone turned to savages on that Pacio guy in the right field. Some vulgar shite, but it was fun.

I was sitting on the first base side. It was awesome seeing the student section go nuts after the homer. Beer was shooting up in the air everywhere. Looked like fountains out there.

I'll probably get crucified for this, but I wasn't all that impressed. Love the atmosphere of the students in right field, but the rest of the stadium just feels like the old Joe did. Sure, it's a lot prettier to the eye, just not all that impressive overall. JMO, but I think we wasted money again polishing a turd like we did with Coleman.
Don't get me wrong, it's a vast improvement of what we had, I just think we could have done so much more starting from scratch.
