I just feel like the key for this team is so obvious.

Drive, drive, drive, drive

Don't pass the ball around the perimeter aimlessly.

If the fast break isn't there, have Releford, Key, Levi, or Retin try to get to the bucket. That Cooper three was off of ball movement after we got in the paint a bit.

Is Levi a 100% yet?

Hale is looking more comfortable tonight. He's doing a good job on the boards so far

frick, that was a sexy sequence.

Retin with the block, we attack, move the ball quickly around the perimeter, and Releford takes it to the basket.

I'd honestly be fine if this team led the nation in charges. Just attack.

That was the key last year too but they had 0 aggression.

This year they have shown a willingness to just say frick it and take it to the basket early in the clock. We get in trouble when two guys pass the ball back and forth a dozen times.

So if we win today we play Duke right? I thought I heard that on JOX today.

True, but I feel like maybe it's even more the case this year, considering we've gotten more athletic on the perimeter with Key replacing Lacey. Not to mention that's obviously the strength of Key's game.

And Retin's a far better player than he was at the beginning of last year.

Oh yeah. He and Levi both look a lot better so far this year on the offensive end. If we get consistent production out of them along with Releford we should be alright on offense as long as Grant doesn't make them play stall ball.

Has there ever been a 7'1" guy get his shot blocked more often than Carl?

He did have to to start his shot from about his waist because that's where he got the pass.

Is Retin literally our best shot blocker?

Retin has some of the best hops I've ever seen on a little guy. He reminds me a lot of Senario Hillman, but seems to have a better knack for timing his blocks.

I think so. He has to have a 40 inch vertical.

Yeah he's a freak athletically, but it's not just about that, he's just got a knack for it. Great timing.

Yeah, if we win this game our reward is some tender loving from Duke.

But even a 20 point loss would give us a huge SOS boost, so IDGAF.
