We'll stillman about beat our arse last year, had to pull away at the end. As Bryant says, we'll know more if we make it to New York which we should.

The main difference though is with the speed we are playing at. Outside of a couple possessions this year, we have kept from going back to the stall-ball through the first 3 games. That is certainly encouraging.

We play again tommorow night at 7. Against a decent Georgia State team. Winner advances to New York against the likes of Duke and Arizona.

Most fun I've had at a game in a long time. Hate there weren't more people there to see it. Carl finally played like a big man. Hope he keeps it up.

Must win game IMO. Even though a team like Duke is likely going to beat the frick out of us, it would give our SOS a huge boost.

I'd love for us to get some big wins this year. I've already decided we need to beat Kentucky, and split the series with Florida for me to be confident in a real tourney run, but even then who knows, we could win those and lose a bunch of other games.

Our SOS is going to be good enough for us to just need to avoid losing to bad teams. A big win like Duke, Wichita, UK, or UF would certainly help a lot, but we mostly need to be concerned with beating the teams we should beat. A bad loss can hurt you just as bad as a big win can help you.

That will be extremely tough. They are already one of the best teams, and by that time they'll probably be the best. That team is stacked with talent like no team I've ever seen.

True, but we played them tough when they won a title, and I feel like if we keep up the good offense we can win a tight game. I'm not getting my hopes up, but that win could do a lot for the team's confidence late in the season.

This. If we continue to play this up-tempo offense I don't see us having many of those problems this year. I can understand slowing the game down when you're clearly out-matched, but it kills you when you play a terrible team.

Definitely. I'd be very confident in this team if we beat one of UCLA/Wichita and played the other close. Now, if we beat both AND at least one win vs Florida...
