Good win tonight folks, I like this offense.

Seriously though, did we change any of the assistant coaches?

But, I just don't think it's going to ever happen for him.

well, he was 2-4 from 3 tonight, which isn't bad. he's not a true 3 point shooter. he plays out of position and he doesn't ever really come off of screens to set up an open 3. but he has a pretty good stroke and he can make open shots. I think Rodney is a good defender (when he's not in a mismatch post situation) and a competent scorer. I'd like to see him work on his ball handling a good bit, but his shot doesn't bother me.

I'm not saying he shouldn't be out there. I'm just saying he LOOKS like a real shooter. But he HAS a career .297 3pt field goal percentage.

he needs to start doing whatever releford has been doing to improve his 3 point shot. we are gonna need all of that and more against the Dukebusters

Great win. I'll watch a replay and probably post my thoughts afterwards.

My first 10 minutes impression: We had so many careless turnovers and sucked offensively when no one was penetrating. Captain obvious with that one though. And what's up with Jacobs? He looked disinterested.

Jacobs disappeared this game.

Next 10 minutes: Carl has looked a ton better without that knee brace. He and Hale both gave very good minutes. Retin's block looked legal to me. We closed the last 4 minutes poorly though.

First 5 minutes of the second half had everyone playing well after those 15 fouls in the first minute.

yeah Georgia State didn't show up in the 2nd half. not sure what their deal was. they didn't want any part of Retin

After watching the game, happy with how we played. Retin has made people forget about Lacey thus far. Hale and Engstrom provided great minutes tonight. Hopefully Jacobs gets his head out of his arse and starts playing well though. We need him to score for us.

yeah I don't think Lacey would be starting over Obasohan at this point. but Retin is going to have to start making some shots. he just reminds me of Senario Hillman at this point. he's great when we can run, but if a team forces us into a half court offense, retin becomes a lot less valuable.

Retin can do a lot more offensively than just dunk the ball like Hillman. Retin is better in the fastbreak, but he has also been doing very well in the half-court as well, despite not shooting well. No one ever seems to be able to keep in front of him. He's by far the most athletic basketball player I've seen in Crimson.
