Just fricking pound the rock behind our offensive line like '92.

The chances of Lane Kiffin doing that are next to 0.

if we shut them out, are we the greatest team in college football history?

Greatest team, no. Last year's team was more well rounded, imo. Greatest defense, yep.

I think a lot of us, me included, didn't pay close attention to today's game plan on offense. We were vanilla as frick. It looked like a NFL Preseason game.

We'll be ready for Clemson like we were last year.

You can be vanilla while also being efficient. We were a extremely sloppy and consistently wasted good field position that allowed Washington to stay in the game. Thanks God for Anderson's NOT. Kiffin straight up called the worst game in his time at Bama.

Again, if our offense doesn't get it together quickly, we will get beat by Clemson.

Again, we'll be fine.

Our players are hungry.

The biggest x-factor and brightside for our Bama offense is that we don't have Dom Jackson.

Guys, Clemsons defense is good, but they were gashed all over the field by Pitt and Virginia Tech late in the year. 34 to FSU, 43 to Pitt and 35 to Virginia Tech. That's 3 of their last 7 games.

Ohio States offense is trash. Can't block and can't throw the ball more than 15 yards. Their entire offense is read options, outs and throws to the flats.

It's gonna be a war next week, but let's not act like Clemsons defense is some unstoppable juggernaut.

I'd also throw out that we are better at every skill position by A LOT

I knew Ohio State stunk on offense. I didn't realize how unathletic and slow they were.

They looked like Michigan State.

You just described Kiffin's base offense this year to a T.

Except we run for 200+ yards every game and have 3 NFL running backs. We are in the top of all explosive play stats (see today) nationally.

Ohio State has none of that.

Clemson will be a giant test, and Kiffin has been a disaster the last 2 games and that can't continue, but I'm not going to put their defense on a level with us or even LSU based on 1 game vs a bad blocking, unexpslosive Ohio state team.

Except like I said they don't have near the skill level we have.

We just won a playoff game by 17 points against a legitimate Top 4 team. We didn't play great on offense. Our defense is all time great and has a week to create a performance to cement that against Clemson.

I'm excited and it will be fun. No clue how it will go.

I was literally about to make a thread about this topic.

I lived in SC since 2000 and I never in a million years thought I'd be scared of ducking Clemson but I am. God help us.

But I feel like like we won't play as bad as we did last year. We'd all probably feel better about this game if we stuck with the run game. We would've been up at least a few more TDs had lane not gotten cute.

But expect another hard fought game.

Coker was sacked 5 times this year and Clemson's pass rush is just as good this year.
