Win out and they'll be in the Top 2. Just like last year.

Not sure Ole Miss loses 2 though. That'll create a big problem. Last year I was 100% sure they would. This year, it's not a guarantee.

I was simply referring to those QBs ability to orchestrate a 2-minute offense damn near flawlessly when call upon. The rest of the game contains too many variables to calculate. But the last two drives , the one at 3 minutes and 30 seconds, given both those chances, GMAC and AJ would have found the endzone against a gassed defense. I have no doubt.

I thought the defense played well outside of 5 turnovers and fluke play.

Borderline no-TD due to 3/4 of Kelly's body being over the LoS.

The playcalling here was horrendous. Coker gets 26 yards on the ground then Kiffin decides to go deep. We had them on their heels and should have run the ball right at them.

I hear you. But it's way more than just that. They did those things because Alabama has amazing talent and they aren't retarded. That isn't very nice, they were pretty damn good as well.

Coker didn't do it because he's pretty fricking bad. The play calling was also insane. There was so much fricking time left yet Kiffin acted like their was a buck thirty left. Holy frick it was bad.

quote:Sorry your boyfriend threw 3 picks. Hes not the answer at QB. He isn't accurate on a consistent basis and makes terrible decisions. Three picks? Did you even watch the game? Bateman threw the first one and it was 17-3 by the time Coker came in you moron.

I was wrong about the picks BUT he threw two picks. You act like Coker threw the team on his back and willed them back in the game. Bama has a good OL, solid receivers, and a couple of very good running backs, which were all utilized.

He just isn't the logical answer going forward. He is a 5th year senior in his second year here. Its time to develop another player.

Yep. It was clear we needed to be running the ball.

I dunno. Coker sold me on him as the starter tonight. He made plays and kept drives alive with his feet.

Who started tonight?

Does he have the talent?

Clearly the guy who gets paid 7 million dollars a year to coach football thinks he does. You want to talk shite about our QB situation? It begins and ends with Nick Saban.

Alabama Passing
Bateman didn't get enough of a chance, imo. But I understand why they made the change when they did.

Coker played hard but He is pretty bad. 46% completion rate.

Dumb play call to throw long after his run. He hasn't shown the ability to hit a deep ball all year but sure let's bomb away with 3min left. Dumb call.

C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT
Jake Coker 21/45 201 4.5 3 2
Cooper Bateman 11/14 87 6.2 0 1
TEAM 32/59 288 5.0 3 3

I agree if Coker had started we would've won.

Why didn't he start? I'll never understand that.

I don't think we have clue as to what we want to do on offense. Before the season, I was hoping we would just be a run-first type team and use the QB as as tict game manager. It looks like we can't do either.

The way our OL has played has been the biggest disappointment to me. Second to that is our inability to manage the QB situation.

What? You think I enjoy this? Sorry I have a pair of fricking eyes. Is it Saban's fault? Uh...sure? He's the head coach, pretty much everything is on him. I don't know what your point is.

Because he isn't very good. If you can't see he isn't a very good qb then idk what to say to you, 46% completion rate is bad. He played hard and I'll give him props for that.

I'm Natemans int, he got absolutely destroyed by an om defender. Could be the reason he was pulled...

Pretty sure Bateman would have done fine doing that as well. Dont get the incredibly short leash.
