Object to Coker running away with it? I wouldn't object to Alphonse Taylor running away with it if he could.

How did you feel about Sims?
I still don't think he's a good QB. I put very little stock into what happens at A-day.

If you think Miller is a good QB then Cornwell and Coker should get a dual heisman this year. Miller has poor fundamentals, he's boosted by the fact that he's a phenomenal athlete.

In college football that is enough to win a championship, correct? (Vince Young, Tim Tebow, Tommy Frazier etc...)

I don't care if we get Miller or not, I just want a viable option at QB to lead this team to a championship. As of right now, I don't think Coker is the answer. A huge percentage of the fanbase anointed him the "Messiah" to save us from Blake Sims, but Blake buckled down and led what was suppose to be a 3 lost non-SEC championship team to the conference title. I'm rooting for Jake, because he is from Mobile, but I just dont think he has what Saban or Kiffin is looking for. They are giving him every chance to prove himself, but he isn't taking the "bull by the horns". If he had trouble beating Blake and can't pull away from DC, I say go with youth or whoever does a better job which could be Braxton.

In the other hand, very few people thought that Blake was the answer...my point is, let's not count anyone out yet. I'm not sure if Coker is the guy either but I do think that whether it be him, or one of the other guys, we will have someone that can help us win games.

Tell you what...we'll accept it as soon as Saban does. Is that OK?

You assume he hasn't why? Because he hasn't told you?

Since when is Saban transparent in his press conferences? Dude is cryptic as frick and that's how I like it.

And I am one of them and he was not. I got bashed on here early last season when I said Sims at the helm would not get us to the NC game. I feel the same about Coker. Did Sims exceed expectations of many yes and Coker may to, but the fact is I do not want to be the UGA of the West. Where we have someone serviceable enough to win 10 games, maybe even an SEC championship once in a while, but never really be that dominate force to win it all from the start.

And in the end Morris could probably win us games with talent around him but in the end it is about winning specific games.

I too thought Blake wasn't going to cut it. Now even though he lost us two games like I predicted, he did perform better than I expected him to.

Now take that, and factor in that Coker performed much better than Blake did in his spring game and I have no reason to believe he can't continue to develop in the same fashion and be better than Sims was in the fall.

I mean if you just look at the job Kiffin did with Sims, logically you should be excited to see what he can do with a true QB.

That being said I'm still saying get Miller to play RB. There isn't an ice cube's chance in hell he'll start at QB but I'll happily boost the RB depth with an athlete like him if we have the room.

If Miller came here I would like to see him at HB/TE. Miller is a great athlete who could be dangerous as an alternative weapon in our offense. Sort of what I was hoping for with Bo before he got hurt. With Miller every time he gets the ball the defense would have to worry about him passing or running.

Vince young and Tebow had a lot better fundamentals than him. VY shouldn't be on that list, I'm assuming he is because he was also a dual threat. Tebows issue had to do with a slow release and throwing motion, he was generally accurate. Frazier was a triple option QB.

Not sure why its a knock on someone to lose to Blake. He played extremely well and put up some amazing stats. Coker was only here for a summer term, he didn't arrive after fall. Had he arrived after fall we might have seen a different QB out there. His spring game this year was fine, yall need to chill.

How so? We got an SEC title, into the playoff, and we didn't lose to OSU because of Blake.

Agreed. Our DBs were terrible, but Blake certainly didn't help our cause with all of those picks.

So you guys don't want a proven guy. You rather have a guy that looked like shite at A-Day. Seems fishy to me. I don't think he comes here but shite still seems fishy.

Blake played a big part in both of our losses last year.

How? Surely you aren't blaming that God awful last throw against Ole Miss on him.

Wasn't a terrible throw. OJ just didn't put his hands up to get it.

Even Blake admitted he knew he wasn't supposed to throw that ball if the guy didn't bite on Amari.

Even so the ball right there and a 5'9 guy jumped over a 6'6 guy to get the ball.
