He is better than every quarterback we have on the roster. Let him come in play a year and pass the torch on the Barnett. He could be nasty this year with our offense and Lane Kiffin.

Doesn't matter if he is, or is not when it comes to all being said and done. If you are a process oriented thinker, then you realize he is a great talent and the pros enormously out weigh the cons in bringing him in.

To make this short and sweet is, the pros: he comes in wins the job and leads the team to win many games possibly the SEC and more.

He doesnt win the job, he adds depth and will be there if something ever happens to the starter may that be injury or slump.

The cons: We bring him in and he when he doesnt start we have to listen to a bunch of dumb arse fans pretend like something was wasted because they are short term thinkers.

I love how you guys just pass the torch to Barnett as if Cornwell is a upperclassman and doesn't deserve a top.

You must have misread something. I definitely did not. I didnt mention Barnett on this board or the other 2 boards that i have discussed this on. In fact on the others i mention Cornwell being in the mix im pretty sure. Also i made a general comment about whomever wins the job. But okayyyyy.

we dont even know if he can throw.

he doesnt have any familiarity with our offense or style of offense.

we already have 5 QBs.

if we are gonna bring in a transfer this late, bring in a RB.

Fine pass the torch to David. I don't care who is getting the torch. The point is I want Miller passing it.

So Miller is going to come in and just miraculously have camrederie with all our players and lead this team without knowing a single soul on the team.

Nevermind we run an entirely different offense than what he's used to and won't have the benefit of spring to learn it.

The desperation of some of you is sickening. Especially considering we're in good position to repeat as SEC champs and make it to the playoffs.

I don't. I think we will be just fine with Coker/Cornwell. Miller is coming off of a torn labrum. Do we really know if he can pass that well anymore?

Give the scholarship to a kid who has wanted to be here from the beginning, such as Christian Bell.

Braxton Miller is very Tim Tebow-esque in that he only read half of the field when he played under Urban. Keep him the hell away.

Would love to have him. Coker couldn't beat out Blake Sims. Enough said.

I'll say what I said about Coker last year at this time... I don't see a QB coming in during the summer, learning the offense, and earning Saban's trust before the season starts.

Yeah, let's bring in Braxton, and tell the rest of our 4-5* QBs that we have no faith in their abilities, and then end up starting Cornwell anyways.

I didn't think Braxton was even cleared to throw a football until August? I don't think he's playing QB at the collegiate level wherever he goes next year.
