So how does Dabo's $40,000,000 buyout tie into this discussion?
Do we float a bond issue to pay that? Or has Dabo inserted a Bama clause in his contract?
And regarding, buyouts... Do you remember when we first signed Saban a big deal was made of the fact that he never accepts buyouts in his contracts? I noticed from a recent article that he now has a 26 million dollar buyout. How did that situation evolve?

I’m assuming Dabo’s buyout will go down over time but whatever the amount is we should pay it. Again, quality, proven coaches are rare and too many schools underpay for coaching.

Dabo’s Buyout is 6 million. The 40 million figure is if Clemson wanted to can him.

my guess most coaches that are seasoned have buyouts for getting canned but not if they leave for a "better" gig.
