Hey guys, what are your thoughts on sporting grey uniforms from time to time? Would your opinion change for home, away or neutral site games? Thanks for feedback! RTR

I probably wouldn't like them as much as our standard colors, but I would need to see them before I made my mind up for sure. I definitely do not support alternate uniforms when it comes to football, but I may feel differently for basketball.

Traditional, crimson & white is our thing. We aren't Oregon

Same. In football our uniforms are classic and mean something. It's not the same for basketball. Not sure why anyone would care if we changed the basketball uniforms up a little.

I wouldn't mind seeing changes in basketball. They've changed over the years anyway.
Like someone else said, football shouldn't mess with their classic uniforms, but changing basketball uniforms would be fun. I don't think the basketball program can afford to be stubborn, especially in new uniforms helps with recruiting.

I may have jumped the gun there. In basketball, maybe I wouldn't mind it. Football should never change though

That was my thought process as well. We've seen how the kids like multiple alternate uniforms and how it has helped Oregon recruit some kids that they likely wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. I say give it a shot in basketball only, as long as they still have somewhat of a traditional look/feel to them.

Yeah, bring it on for hoops! Even black. Gray would be so sweet though.

I said no at first but after thinking about it and how hard it is to recruit, I'd be fine with it. It would attract recruits to want to play for us since we can't offer things like a new arena. I'm sure Avery has thought of this already.

Thanks for the replies guys. From what I understand the team and coaches want it. The "boosters" don't.
I'm all for it as long as it's done right. (I.e. No grey outs)

Boosters usually aren't smart and accepting of change especially at a place like Alabama.

Not sure about gray, but would welcome different type of uniforms from time to time.
