The high school team in my kids' school district up here in Idaho scored their most points, by far, this season two nights ago racking up 42 points.
They lost by 28.
They are terrible. They've won 2 games in the 4 years we've lived here.

Just takes the right coach. My high school went 1-9 a couple years ago, fired their coach, hired a good coach, and went 9-1 the next season and are undefeated so far this year.

Not many top matchups in Birmingham. Some interesting games though in 7A
#3 Thompson @ Spain Park
Spain Park led #2 Hoover late in the 4th earlier in the year, and this is Thompson toughest road game yet. I kind of like Spain Park to pull off the upset
Vestavia Hills @ Mountain Brook
One of the bigger rivalries in the state. This game is usually a toss up regardless of the records. the past couple years the more talented team has lost the game. I think that continues so I have the Rebels winning.
Sparkman @ #4 Hewitt-Trussville
Sparkman has had a major turn around and are 5-1. However, I expect Hewitt to continue their dominance
Also expect Briarwood, Wetumpka, Homewood, and Pinson Valley all to remain undefeated

It's final from Lamar Field in Oxford, AL.
#2 Oxford - 32
Pell City - 0
The win moves Oxford to 9-0 on the year and makes them Class 6A Region 7 champions for the second consecutive season.
With their fourth shutout of the season, the Oxford defense is giving up just 5.33 points per game on average.

Maplesville continues to roll with a 71-6 win at Autaugaville. Maplesville was up 44-0 at the end of the FIRST QUARTER. Yes, you read that right.
Isabella was up 35-14 at the half over Notasulga. Waiting for a final score update.
Edit: Isabella wins 48-22
