Grant is bringing in the best talent that we have seen in some time, but we put the program on a impossible timeline

Grant had Releford, Randolph, and Trevor Lacey on a team at one time. All very talented and highly recruited players. Grant has brought in talent for years. Before that he had Releford, Tony Mitchell, and Jamychael Green.

How long should we wait? He has proven that he's a shite coach.

Yeah it's definitely not their only coach to lead them to their only final four

Sure. Shaka laid the groundwork for Virginia Commonwealth. Grants recruits were just secondary.

So Grant should then give credit to Capel who had success before him with that logic. I hope you're trolling but at this point I think you're serious

Do you see the theme here?

Grant can recruit. Grant can't coach.

Honestly, I do not know. What I do know is that we cannot put ourselves in a better position without Grant this year.

He'll be a valuable asset for Donovan back in Gainesville.

Well we aren't going to fire him mid season so that's a moot point. It needs to be NCAA tournament or hit the streets. Frankly if I'm Bill Battle it's sweet 16 or streets. He's had enough time to put together a team to accomplish that, and the sweet 16 shouldn't be some unattainable goal at Alabama. That should be the minimum goal every year. That isn't his mentality though

I prefer to think he is trolling. Nobody can be this dumb.

So what happens after we do not get in the sweet 16?

Cecil Hurt is not a fan of Grant. Kinda weird to see him blast Grant on twitter. It's all true though.

Even with the teams improvements this year, I want him gone. Same shite, same heart breakers every big game.

Cecil turned on him last year. Remember his column in February?

Then I would fire him, unless we win 85-90% of our remaining games and look competent doing so. You know, noticeable and substantial improvement over his first 5 years.

I don't blame him. We all saw this coming.

Another wasted season with a lame duck season. It doesn't help to see a guy like Bruce Pearl end up at Auburn.

I'm officially back on the Howland train until something else pops up.

Parrish thinks that Greg Marshall is in his last season at Wichita because he has Baker and Van Vleet leaving this year. Go out and throw a ton of money at him.

One frustrating thing right now isn't the best time to try to hire a coach because UNC, Duke, and Indiana will all open up within the next couple of years probably.

LOL remember when we all worried that Grant would use Bama as a "stepping stone" job?

And we all hoped he gave us 5-7 good years before he moved on to a "big" job?
