Scottie Pippen Says “I Was LeBron James Before LeBron James”
Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports
As people continue to have the LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan debate, Scottie Pippen has chimed in saying...
quote:

"I was LeBron James before LeBron James," he said. "It's not even close."

"They want to compare (James) to the greatest, whether it be Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson, but he's more closer to myself," he said. "It's natural for folks to say that, but if you look at how he plays the game and how I played the game, you'll see more similarities with us."
It's an interesting thought, especially because I'm sick of the Jordan debate.

I just want to know the story on the pic. When did Millsap play against Pippen?

I have followed the NBA since the mid-=70's; since that time it is my opinion that Scottie Pippin is the most overrated so called star in the NBA history of that time period. He made a living off being MJ's caddie. I still remember when the Rockets signed him and I said he will lay down, which is exactly what he did...waste of money!

Actually a valid point and I don't think he was making any kind of comment to the skill level of LeBrom. PIppen may actually be a better comparison. LBJ is just a newer better version

Scottie wishes he were more like Lebron. Scottie just stand over there and be quiet...thats how you got 6 rings. it what you are good at.
