So.... it's okay for Iran to have nuclear weapons AND a desire to use them against us?
Okay.....

BREAKING: Iran has completely rejected the Trump administraton’s demand to transfer its enriched uranium stockpile out of the country, one of Washington’s central conditions in ongoing negotiations.

Iran is never going to voluntarily give up their uranium.
They know that. We know that.
We will have to take it.
Hopefully with the help of other interested partys.
It is in the world's best interest for a no-nuke Iran.

All that's going on right now is just so we can say 'we tried to negotiate a peace deal'.

He has made it to the bitter old man stage.

Most towns have shitty areas you want to avoid.
The thing about these kids that leave after one year is that in 3 or 4 years we will barely remember that they played here.
There will be no more 'Hogs' like Moncreif, Brewer, Delphi, Collins, Day, Mayberry, etc.

re: The Fender legal issue

Strat copies have been being made without complaint for so long now (decades) that it's about like us calling any tissue a Kleenex.
It's well past the point of Fender being able to do anything about it.
They would have to go up against PRS, Yamaha, Suhr, Ibanez, Harley Benton, and any number of manufacturers.
All I can figure is that Fender is hurting for money, and this is going to pretty much do them in.
So... he wants to sit back and draw that paycheck instead of earning it on the floor?
Yeah, he probably needs a year of development, but that's a curious thought process for a player.

He also said he didn't want to be "the guy" year 1.

He would have probably been much less 'the guy' at Arkansas than at Louisville, so that argument doesn't hold much water.

did you watch our games against Duke, Florida, and Arizona last year?

Yes, but do you know of any better semi-realistic options at the moment?
The shelves are empty at the transfer store.

Maybe there's a hidden Euro or Aussie out there that we don't know about, or a G league we can pay enough.
I just don't have any leads.
Ewin being granted another year and Semedo giving him 8-10 minutes a game would be workable.
Odds on Ewin getting the waiver?
Next... who's out there across the pond? Nothing left in the US that I'm aware of.

ETA: Louisville is all the way up to #101 in the 247 overall basketball recruiting rankings with this commitment, a few spots below Arkansas State.
It's all about the Bens.
Program collectives, boosters, etc. that are willing to fork over 7 million for one player are the stupid ones. That is just plain throwing money away. In the end, they are paying to watch Stokes play for one year and gambling on a NC that probably won't happen for them. No ROI.
This madness has got to stop.
I had a serious face to face with a student that addressed me as bruh one day. A high percentage of these kids have no respect for teachers, adults, classmates, or even themselves.
I still find lots of things worth watching.

Leave it to Arkansas to find a low basketball IQ and work ethic euro.

Didn’t know those existed.

You may be right, but he does have talent and ability and runs the floor.
Our other options are slim. I say (like I have any) 'take a chance'.

Obviously you have no concept of what Iran stands for and what they intended to, and would do with nuclear weapons.
You know nothing of the big picture at all.
You deserve what you get.
I switched from Verizon to StraightTalk years ago for half the price. I noticed no difference except a few extra bucks in my pocket.
