Thinking about adding an "Other Sports Board" to SECrant.com...

It would be similar to the More Sports Board on TD...but it would allow people to stay on SECrant.com to discuss non-SEC sports...would like to get your opinions on this idea since DawgRant once had a Pro Sports board...

Is the eventual plan to separate the two websites?

I think that is a big driver...and maybe there can be some **gasp** Falcons discussions since that's not possible on the MSB

Can we keep saint's fans off? If not can we have a admin that's a coons fan so he can be as swift with the hammer as on saint's board.

Hey Chicken how come our boys always get clipped when they post on the Saints board? I've never been over there personally but I have heard such things.

I know I was told to get off the Saints board when the Bucs were playing them. Wasn't out of line or anything. I think Chicken does it just to avoid conflict.
Also, I'm all for an "Other Sports Board".

Honestly I think its a dumb idea and wouldn't get a tenth of the traffic the main one does. Only thing it would be nice for is posting about the falcons without 100 sainttards. I'd still welcome a Uga off topic board though

well the OTB doesn't get as much traffic as the OT, but its not bad. Like I said, I think Chicken's end game is having two separate sites. Then he'll probably sell the SECr to some Russian. Maybe the Russian will allow us to post porn.
OR SBJ buys the SECr in a ironic twist of fate.

What I really meant was is it going to just be a MSB clone, or are we gonna send some lower popularity SEC sports that way as well?

I'd imagine it'd be like the OTB vs OT. Civil vs Swamp trash type thing.
