I guess I see the appeal but I think its different than the ot. Ot actually has local news and stuff while our threads about Athens would be off the front page in 5 mins. More sports is pretty much 90% the same game threads and topics

Good idea. A lot of people want to join here to talk Braves, Falcons, etc. and that would eliminate that.......and the amount of Falcons fans that get clipped on the MSB.

Sounds like a good idea. The More Sports Board on TD is pretty Saints centric as I remember; don't go there now. Would make sense for the other college representatives to have an Other Sports board to discuss all other sports including pro sports.

If you do unveil this, you should make favorite team logos for the rest of the NFC South to celebrate.
I know it's a longshot, but I think you would get a lot of support for it.

I know I will certainly be in the minority, but personally I don't really see the need for it EXCEPT when it comes to falcons/saints feuds. I don't even care about the falcons, but holy shite a falcons fan can't say a word before saints endlessly talk about their 1 super bowl season. Even good natured, thoughtful posts are instantly shot down my the masses.
Aside from that though, I like the MSB. If I want to look at sports stuff besides the SEC, the MSB is always a good spot. I just don't really know what the NEED is for another one. It's different with OT. The OTL and OTB don't have a specific topic to discuss...so having 2 separate ones is fine. You have certain people that stay on one and certain people that stay on another. With a MSB and PSB, you're discussing the same topics. Professional sports/athletes/coaches, pro sports game threads, etc. It's fairly specific. Just seems like any time anything happens in sports there's going to be the same thread on 2 different boards.
I know my opinion doesn't mean anything, again it just seems like it's not really needed aside from the shithead saints fans.

What they could do is instead of making a 2nd MSB go for a third site separate from SECr and TR. You could make it Pro Sports Rant and have a NFL Board, MLB board, NBA board, a golf board that sometimes asked for on the help board, the Fantasy board and if you must you could make a hockey board and add the soccer board.
Whether or not they'd want to do that is another point.

Saints fans get to jump on the MSB, talk shite, and then run back to the Saints Talk where they're "protected". If this new board alleviates that, please move forward with it.
