Jeremy Johnson looked as good as expected. Wondered why he didn't run the ball at all though.

Nick Marshall looked exactly the same as last year. Elite runner. Inconsistent passer.

Duke is everything we thought he was.

CAP is definitely the workhorse. All RBs looked good.

Offense was pretty much business as usual.

Defense was god awful in the first. Those running lanes were huge. Couldn't tell what adjustments were made from the student section but they worked to perfection. Defense looked much improved from halftime on.

CAP looked better as the game went on, fighting for tough yards, which is kinda what I expect from a workhorse back.

I disagree... there were certainly some miscues, but you could attribute that to first game woes.

One thing I learned for certain? Trovon Reed can NOT tackle. We would be best suited if we kept him off the field most of the time.

This is key. If we get 4 quarters of this... Watch out.

2nd half D looked great. I mean I think they had 2 total rushing yards the second half.

I'm not sure what I learned about our D. It went from a steaming pile of shite to looking like the Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl winning D.

We do not have any problems at the QB position....and won't for years to come.

Melvin Ray is a baller.

Duke is a'ight.

We have a stable of RB's that can rival any in the SEC. (I already knew this one but it was nice to be validated)

Whitaker can't play at 320.
Need to plug up middle with players that can move.

Johnson is legit like we all thought... He makes our offense different... The incredible thing about Marshall of course is speed, but also his ability to read the defense... I was pleasantly surprised by a few of Marshall's throws... Defense still scares me. Even though they held Arky to 60 yards total offense in the second half, that first half was atrocious... Oh and this will be ours and the end of the year

We need a new clock. This happens at least once a year

Certainly seems that way.

Duke looked great. I would like to see more out of Sammie.

It looked to me like they slowed the defensive line down a bit in the second half. The first half, our defensive line was really aggressively getting in their backfield and Arkansas used a lot of pulling linemen to knock them out of plays. Second half, they slowed the rush down a bit by waiting for it to come to them a bit more.
