"What we have here is a failure to communicate."

Our country is so screwed if there are any that think she should not stay in jail untill her attitude changes.

All she has to do is submit to the law.
She does'nt even have to apologize.
She just has to agree to do what the court says and accept the fact that the judge's opinion of her means the difference between freedom and jail.

Anything else puts her current victims and anyone else in contact with her in danger.

Given that, I hope she stays in jail till she either finds Jesus or the grave.

she was there for assault and violence. Don't act like he just started handing out sentences like candy to all passerbys.

The situation miss ebony is in right now is 100% her own fault. Nobody else's...hers. Don't want 300 day contempt of court sentence? Don't assault people and mouth off to the judge.

ut 10 months because a judge feels disrespected?

Not that at all if I understand it correctly.

He was gradually increasing, giving her the opportunity to back down, she refused.

My guess is that she will go to jail, apologize and be let out.

It was ok for you to believe it then, but you're an idiot for holding on to the belief this long.

What else did your parents teach you that you've never questioned?

She didn't get 300 days for a violent offense. The system is fricked up.

How some of you can't see how ludicrous this is, beyond me.

The system is fricked up because she DIDN'T get 300 days for beating up an elderly man and instead had to talk her way into it. She deserves the time she got.

You don't want ten months, don't fricking beat up old people.

I said they taught me to show respect, not never question. That you can't see the difference makes you a part of the problem.

Not for contempt. For the original charge it is probably appropriate.

Expecting civilized behavior is just so far out of bounds these days.

I wouldn't consider 300 days in jail for contempt to be civilized behavior.

300 days in jail for attacking someone would be acceptable.
