Unfortunately have no choice sister in laws wedding and wife is not willing to miss or leave the baby behind.

International destination wedding coming off a pandemic can’t be easy to plan, and puts a burden on a lot of people.

My passport is in renewal hell right now. I’ll be lucky to get it back by October. You better hope your wife changes her mind once she’s actually dealing with an infant, and realizes staying home is a wiser decision.

Oh you have a choice. I'd talk to SIL and plead with her to tell your wife she needs to stay home. Video call the ceremony or something.

I trust the United States government will make the decision easier for you by not expediting a passport in time.

If your wife doesn't trust you staying home with your own baby then you might as well file the divorce papers now.
