Where in the Midwest did you move?
I moved to Wisconsin last year and as someone else alluded to, I totally didn't mind when it was January and 4 degrees outside. However, when it was May and every morning was still in the low 30s and midday was in the 40s and rainy/muddy, I was sick of it. When the sun finally came out and we consistently got up into the 50s by late May it was like that feeling you get when you're coming out the other side of a bad trip.
