Yes it's a tough season. Am I hanging it up early? No. I'll be out there grinding away for a few birds while the others give up early and try to enjoy the lack of other hunters in the woods.

I'm not giving up, but I'm changing locations. Our rice fields have been terrible up until yesterday when we had a halfway decent hunt. My timber hole filled up with water after all of this rain, so I'll be out there early standing next to a tree. I might not shoot a duck, but I'm pumped as hell to stand in some flooded timber for a change. Just the change of scenery will be worth it for me.
