It's purely speculation at this point that they were drunk when they entered the water. She posted a snapchat from the boat Sunday morning. The coast guard received the report about the boat at 5:45pm Sunday, so they entered the water sometime during the day Sunday.

Two single people on a boat? Not to mention a sail boat without a mast, thing probably hit about 7 mph wide open throttle.
The chances of them being sober is like 1%.
