Not hard at all. I just got one with a 30-40 ft coaxial cable. I had my wife test the channels and when I found a decent spot I mounted it on the 2x4s and dropped the cable down the wall. Punched a small hole in the sheetrock and connected it to the TV. You can do it yourself fairly easily.
ETA - obviously mounting it is the last step. I found some places in my attic got slightly better reception than others.
