Yeah, I found Heathrow security to be strict as shite with their liquids and had to pass through security just to connect within Terminal 5. They dont make you take off shoes and belts I guess is where it's more lax.

That's why it's laughable when people pretend to know what they're talking about just to go along with a thread. In this case, nothing could be further from the truth but it was presented as an anecdotal fact. Their literal interpretation of every standard ever is the bane of my business existence but the one place I appreciate it is at the airport.
