I'd rather see a big ten team like Michigan State go play at Western Michigan a MAC team instead of scheduling a game against a Division 1-AA school.
If you're a Michigan State fan I imagine you can still see your team play reasonably close in Michigan. I think Michigan State has scheduled 3 for 1 against Western and Central Michigan and will play Eastern Michigan's home game at Ford Field.
I've always wanted LSU to play Tulane and would be happy with a 3 for 1 with Tulane with the road game being played at the Superdome.
With the playoffs I think it matters to play Division 1-A schools over 1-AA schools.
