What would be different this time around for Miles?

He has turned down UM twice in the past (allegedly), so why would he decide to make the jump now? What has really changed for Miles in the past 10 years that would cause him to change his mind? I can't seem to think of anything vastly different. He had two previous chances to coach at his alma matter, but didn't. Each one of those times could have been "his last chance" but it did not seem to affect his decision. From a risk perspective, why would he want to potentially damage his legacy by leaving a highly successful program in the best conference, surrounded by the top recruiting pools, in a state that does not have to compete with other in-state universities and go to a program that is clearly on a downward slide in a weak conference? Idk, maybe the recent death of his mother could potentially sway him to want to "go back home"? Anyhow, whatever happens I think LSU will be ok. The dark days are forever behind us.... I hope.
