I am not relying on my concerns just on the MSU loss, but there are projections of us finishing LAST in the SECW. Who in the world would have imagined this 2-3 years ago?

Would it really be surprising if every team in the SECW finished this season with 4-3 or 3-4 division record? The difference between first and last in the division this year is as razor thin as it has ever been. The last place team in the SECW this year might very well be the 7th best team in the nation. Don't get wrapped around the axle.

If 2-3 years ago, someone would have listed all the players who would leave early, where would you predict LSU to finish? Would you think we'd even be competitive?

And yet, at the end of the season when all-conference lists are released, we're probably going to sweep the freshman team. That's probably the biggest indicator of decline vs future success; LSU's future looks very bright.
