I spent my freshman year at LSU (High School in Baton Rouge), but transferred out to NC State after that. I don't wear head-to-toe purple and gold (aka I don't clothes shop at walmart) but I definitely wear the colors year round and never miss a chance to yell out GEAUX TIGERS when I see another fan out in the world somewhere.

After I transferred out I was still getting acclimated to Raleigh, and one day at the NC State dining hall I did a double take as this dude was walking by wearing a LSU hoodie...and he did the same because I was wearing one as well. He sat down, we had lunch, and are still good friends to this day.

Went to the Arky game last weekend (first game I've been to since 2008!) and some dude asked me to sit down and I got pretty irked...called him an Alleva-tiger...apologized later though...

so...given the evidence I'd say I'm a 8.5 or 9.

I own a lot of lsu shirts that will be worn casually. I do have season specific gear I wear on gameday. No jerseys. No Toonces. Home games- "Death Valley" shirt. Away game- whatever I'm in the mood for. I don't have any gear that I would consider "loud". Most of my merchandise is in athletic gray. I'm typically a solids guy in regular attire. 95% of my gear is nike. Solid colors with simple logos or lettering. Sometimes hats on gameday, sometimes not. One small tiger eye sticker on my truck's rear window. Yes, I admittedly care a little too much about lsu sports, but I don't sacrifice the REAL important things. But everyone that knows me knows where my allegiance lies.
