I had just moved from College Station to Austin a few months before this game. I watched it in a bar in Austin with a couple of other misplaced Tiger fans. Yes, Williams was from Hempstead, just a few miles from A&M, and he was not popular in CS with his decision to go to LSU. Great game, and I had a great time razzing my former neighbors in CS. That was a fun team to watch.
