With modern media, everyone is watching everything. The NFL coaches have the tapes. If they determine he quit, then that's all that matters. I doubt they take McShay solely on his word, but may take a second look to see if what he says has a point.

Some players may have given up during the NC game, and that will surely hurt them more personally than it hurt LSU. Doesn't matter though what we or the players say, it is what it looked like that counts.

That's why you tell you kid to sprint to his position in baseball, or hustle down the court, etc, no matter what the score. You never know who is watching....
