The race thing, and the idea of "no one wanting to go to a podunk small town like CS" is completely bogus.
Programs in the state of ALABAMA have won the last 2 NC's. Both are in small podunk college towns just like CS (when compared to somewhere like Austin).
I'm not bashing Alabama for either of those stereotypes, as I don't think they are true for them or for A&M.....but the argument holds 0 relevance.
If every successful program was located in a place like Austin, Miami or LA then I'd take it more seriously.
