Always played the older guy. Booty, Davey, Mauck, Randall. He took forever in giving Davey a shot over Booty.
In fact, specifically brought Mauck to LSU (Mauck was a former recruit of Saban's from Michigan State that went baseball out of high school) because he was an older guy and LSU was inexperienced at QB.

A tiger can't change his stripes, i guess I should give up on the young QB getting a shot to start this year.
