There's no indication that supports that Tate has been below average.
Research dollars have been healthy (record breaking research inflows in 2023), and the exposure of those research dollars have been far reaching (student and faculty awards). The transformation of LSU to step into and become a serious player in Cybersecurity has been amazing to see. Our students are kicking arse across multiple disciplines.
Attendance has been healthy, and ever increasing. And our graduation rates have been supporting that as well (about to graduate our largest class ever; initiative to attract and retain Louisiana grown talent).
I'm not going to pretend we're not without flaws...but we are trending in a great way. Tate has been visible, accessible to students, faculty, and donors...and it's working. Let's not try and make an issue out of nothing, because Tate has been a bright spot the past 3 years for our institution.
