Again, if we trade him we don't pay for his salary either. The receiving team does. Salary or option bonus changes little.

Now this can theoretically split the dead cap, but that is a net-0 change and not what was being discussed in this thread previously. There is nothing we can do to modify the accelerated bonus pro-ration without a time machine. That bonus money was already paid.
